Here is a delicious and very chocolatey cookie my wife made this past week. If you like it extra chocolatey, you’ll really like this one. This is a recipe for standard chocolate chip cookies that my wife modified by adding double chocolate chips!
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in the flour mixture until just incorporated. Fold in the chips. Drop by heaped teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated oven until the edges are golden, 9 to 12 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
