I decided it was time to do up a split turkey breast with a new rub and injected marinade. So, since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I created a marinade for this turkey in the theme of Thanksgiving. What better to go with turkey than cranberries!
I have been using ginger more and more lately, and decided to try that as the secondary flavor. Good Decision!
After thoroughly injecting the turkey the night before smoking it, the flavor of the breast meat turned out so pleasingly perfect!
Cranberry Ginger Marinade
1 cup white cranberry juice
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon ginger
Mix all the ingredients together.
