Cowboy Cookies

These cookies are big on flavor, and big on addiction. It’s very difficult to limit yourself to just 2 or 3 cookies at a time.

With many of my favorite flavors, like peanut butter, oats, chocolate, and best of all, pecans, these cookies are a definite winner. This recipe was taken straight from the web at about.com, so I can’t take credit for the recipe itself, but I can definitely recommend this recipe by passing it along to my readers!

So enjoy!

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar

I’ve made “Peanut Butter and Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Crunch“. In fact, I make it pretty much twice a month as my regular ice cream snack. I’ve decided to take it up a notch, and man is this good. I’ve always liked chocolate ice cream with strawberry preserves mixed into it it, but along with peanut butter, WOW!

I’ve quit eating regular ice cream quite a while ago now and eat only fat free frozen yogurt, so that’s how we got the yogurt into the mix. Check it out, I guarantee you’ll love it!

Peanut Butter & Jelly Chocolate Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Quart container Chocolate Frozen Yogurt (Fat Free)
  • 1 1/2 cups Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 12 oz. jar Strawberry Preserves

Preparation

  1. Remove the entire contents of the frozen yogurt from its container into a mixing bowl. Place in a microwave on high for approximately 30 seconds. (Be careful not to get it soupy). You want it melted enough to be able to mix the peanut butter and preserves into it.
  2. Mix in the peanut butter and strawberry preserves and return it to its container. Place the container into the freezer for at least 4 hours before serving.

These cookies are made with only peanut butter, sugar and 1 egg. They have an awesome, and very strong peanut butter flavor. Add the pure chocolate icing to them, and you have a very addicting cookie. The recipe for these are a combination of two different recipes that were found a few years ago in a magazine.

I always flip flop as to which is my favorite between these and the “Butterfinger Cookies“. The butterfinger cookies are also extremely addicting, but at this moment, I have to go with these peanut butter & chocolate cookies as my favorite.

If you love peanut butter & chocolate, then you owe it to yourself to try these out!
