Little Sweet ~ Lotta Heat Dry Rub

Here’s one for those that need the heat. I personally prefer the flavors on the mild side, but once in a while you just have to heat things up!  This dry rub will go well on any meat, but I would say it goes best used on beef cuts.

Make sure you have some tissues at the table to wipe the tears from your eyes when you eat the meat rubbed with this one! Hooo – Boy!!

Little Sweet ~ Lotta Heat Dry Rub

1/4 cup ground cumin
1/4 cup chili powder
2 tablespoons ground coriander
1 tablespoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoons brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt

This is the easy part. Put it all in a bowl and mix it all together. Rub generously on all surfaces of the meat.

Hot but Sweet Spice Rub

Here’s a nice hot one for you. But of course, we have to throw a little brown sugar in to sweeten it up just a bit.

This will go nicely with any beef, but could certainly be used for pork, poultry, or fish.

Hot but Sweet Spice Rub

3 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoon chili powder
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

Not much to it.

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix it together thoroughly. Generously sprinkle on the meat and rub it in.
