Panakuchen, or as mentioned in a comment from a woman from Germany, Pfannkuchen.
My wife has been talking about making these for a while now, and finally decided to make them this past weekend. They turned out real nice, but just take care to coat the pan well, because they stuck to the pan a bit.
This recipe was taken from cooks.com.

Hmmm, looks delicious…It’s a good thing that I just had my breakfast
Wow that looks really good, cannot wait to try this out.
I absolutely love Apple Pancakes. This looks fabulous! I also love that they are so easy to make and the presentation is beautiful.
That sounds fairly easy and so delicious! Thanks for sharing
This looks so marvelous! Somehow, I picture this recipe in an iron skillet…wonder how that would be on the grill?
Hmm, German apple pancake is my all-time favorite breakfast. This looks delicious
Would this work with bananas instead of apples?
Mmmmm, sounds like a good idea! I haven’t tried cooking bananas, so I’m not sure what the texture would end up like, but I definitely wouldn’t be afraid to give it a try to see! That’s pretty much how I come up with new recipes anyway.
Give it a try! I’d love to hear how it worked out.
Thanks…I think I’ll do that! I’ll let you know!
Okay…I’m esting this as I type! It is VERY good! I just LOVE it! It reminds me of a cross between a filled crepe and french toast! It was so quick and easy to make! I used banana instead of apple and I added 1 Tbls of sugar to the batter. I only made one pancake so I cut the recipe in half! I’ll be making the full recipe this weekend when I make it for my hubby! I know he’ll love it too! I can’t wait to experiment with other fruits! I took a pic and I’ll post a blog about it! Thanks for sharing this Curt!
You are very welcome. I’m so glad you enjoyed it AND experimented with it. Can’t wait to see your post.
Well I’m glad you asked…lol! Here’s the link to my blog post

Awesome! I gave it a tweet!
Thanks for the tweet! I appreciate that! =)
When I have made these in the past I find it very helpful if I use a non-stick spray first in the pan and then put the butter in.
It makes everything come out so much easier!
Can you use 9′ pie pan/glass?
I’m sure you can.
Funny you mention that though. I just saw something on the news about glass bakeware exploding more than usual lately.
Although it’s only happened to me once when I tried cooling it off under water when it was still too hot.
In German this dish is called Apfelpfannkuchen or Pfannkuchen mit Aepfeln. Koestlich!
Made this today. Not bad. Added vanilla icecream, yum!
I think I’m going to make this for dinner tonight! Although I’m going to try Lillian’s idea of Bananas, only because I don’t have any apples in though!
You’ll have to let me know how it turned out.
