Here is another recipe from my wife’s grandmother. My wife makes this several times a year, and it always seems to get eaten up within a couple of days. It’s always my breakfast when she makes it.

Always guaranteed moist and fresh. If you don’t believe me, try it out for yourself.

Lets have a look at the recipe!

Grandma’s Banana Bread

Ingredients

3 bananas, mashed fine
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs, well beaten
3 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup milk

Preparation

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom only of a 9” x 5” loaf pan.

2) Cream the butter and sugar, add the beaten eggs, and then add the mashed bananas. Combine 1 cup flour and baking soda, mix with butter mixture, then add the milk, and, finally, the remaining flour.

3) Pour into prepared pan and bake for 60 to 75 minutes. At 60 minutes, I tent the bread top with foil so it doesn’t get too dark.

4) Check for doneness with a toothpick. Let cool for 5 minutes, remove from the pan, and let it continue to cool.
