Garlic Shrimp Dip

This is a very simple shrimp dip that I’ve been making for years. I’m not sure where it originally came from, but I know it was modified by my mother many years ago.

It will take you all of 10 minutes to prepare. And if you don’t make enough of it, you may end up eating it all in less than 10 minutes. So make plenty, because it always goes over big!

Garlic Shrimp Dip

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (5 oz.) can small deveined shrimp

Preparation

1)  Shred the shrimp with a fork.

2)  Mix the shrimp, garlic powder, and half of the mayonnaise together. Refrigerate this for 1 hour.

3)  After 1 hour, mix in the other half of the mayonnaise.

That’s all there is to it. It’s ready to serve. This goes very good served with crackers.
