Ah, the classic french dip sandwich. A delicious beef sandwich dipped in au jus sauce. This is one of my wife’s favorite sandwiches.
There are many variations, but for the most part, they’re all about the same. So, here is how my wife likes it. In case you’re wondering, I forgot to put the cheese on the sandwich for the picture.
Ingredients
- 1 hoagie bun
- thin sliced roast beef
- mozzarella cheese
- au jus sauce
Preparation
- Using either sliced or shredded mozzarella cheese, place the cheese on each half of the hoagie bun and melt in the microwave, or in the oven for a little toasted affect.
- Place the sliced roast beef on on side of the bun and add any of your favorite condiments.
- Dip the sandwich in the au jus sauce and enjoy!
