Here is another beer marinade, but I thought I’d add a good amount of lime to it. After all, it is a very popular combination.
I used this for an injection in a whole chicken I smoked, and it turned out really tasty. So here it is. I hope you like it as much as I did.
I would say this could be used on pork, poultry or beef.
Beer Lime Marinade
Ingredients
1 (12oz.) bottle beer
1/4 cup lime juice
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together. Use as a marinade or as a injection solution.

Oh, it looks delicious. The lime would do a great job tenderizing the meat and that honey….pure caramelized goodness! Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Thanks, it seems to give more of a lime flavor than beer.
Saw this link over at Dee Dee’s Delights. Looks like a great marinade. What do I do with the left over beers?
Thanks, glad you stopped by.
Well, since you used plural (beers), I’d say one for you, and the rest shared with friends!
What a great recipe! I can imagine all the yumminess it would add to any meat… mmmmm! Already licking my fingers.
Thanks Kate. It’s a dandy!
We have yet to try injecting meat with marinade. I picked up an injector the other day and have a whole chicken to give this a try. Thanks Curt! Have a good week.
Hi Kristi. I feel injecting is the best way to get flavor throughout the meat.
Wow! This sounds like a very interesting marinade. I have never tried marinating meat/poultry with beer. This sure sounds good and the injecting part sounds even better! thanks for sharing
We made this chicken last night. It was wonderful and so moist and tender!
That’s awesome. That’s my favorite kind of comment. You made my day!
