Apple juice is a favorite for marinades. And for good reason too. It gives a very nice flavor to pork and poultry. Personally, I also love garlic, and tend to go heavy on it in certain recipes. So I decided to combine the two flavors and was very pleased with the results. I added a little onion powder and black pepper for good measure.
Give it a try, I believe you’ll be glad you did!
Ingredients
- 1 can (12 oz.) Frozen Concentrate 100% Apple Juice (No Water Added)
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Preparation
- Mix together the marinade ingredients. Place the meat you intend to marinate into a plastic bag and pour the marinade into the bag with the meat. Tie the bag shut with a twist tie and place it into the refrigerator inside of a container (to avoid leakage), and marinate this for approximately 8 hours.
